Application description

MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for Axim X30 Advanced devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the Axim X30 Advanced owner.

Imaging, your cellular Axim X30 Advanced has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the Axim X30 Advanced
• You can locate your Axim X30 Advanced (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen Axim X30 Advanced contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The Axim X30 Advanced owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary Axim X30 Advanced PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this Axim X30 Advanced, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every Axim X30 Advanced supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your Axim X30 Advanced using any other cellular Axim X30 Advanced (no Axim X30 Advanced required!). No internet access is necessary. The Axim X30 Advanced replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
